University Transfer Programs

What is a University Transfer Program?

University transfer "programs" are blocks of courses that transfer to designated universities. RDC offers the first one or in some cases two years of the following programs. Formal course by course transfer within the province of Alberta is documented in the Alberta Transfer Guide (see tab “Transfer Information”). Students can transfer to other universities by individually prearranging transfer with the receiving institution.

A student working on an engineering design project. The student can design a 3D object using computer software. The refrigerator sized apparatus to the right is a "Rapid Prototyper" which lays down layers of plastic much like an ink jet printer lays down ink. The unit will lay down layer after layer, to create the 3D design in plastic. The final product is shown on the desk at the right.
